Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel ownership and management company in Milwaukee, is seeking an Area Account Executive to drive business for three of the city’s most iconic properties: 

·        Hilton Milwaukee – A premier convention headquarters hotel 

·        The Pfister Hotel – A recently renovated, historic luxury hotel 

·        Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel – A vibrant, creative hub for the arts and events 

With a total of 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this role offers the opportunity to secure high-value business, cultivate lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of these landmark hotels. 

What You Will Do

·        Develop and manage key client relationships, focusing on National Associations, Government, and Citywide Conventions 

·        Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue through strategic sales efforts 

·        Represent our hotels with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm 

·        Collaborate with internal teams to create seamless event experiences for clients 

What You Will Bring

·        A motivated, confident, and engaging sales approach

·        Previous hospitality sales experience

·        Strong communication and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals 

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively 

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry sales systems 

·        Willingness to travel 8-12 times per year and conduct regular local sales calls
