As an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll play a key role in shaping world-class greens by overseeing daily operations, training and leading the maintenance team, and managing the turf for The Brute and The Highlands—while also contributing to the exciting grow-in of a brand-new short game area and 10-hole short course, set to redefine the golfing experience.

What you will be doing:
- Conduct daily course inspections and report conditions.
- Communicate course status with the superintendent, staff, and guests.
- Serve as a hands-on working manager, leading by example.
- Schedule crews, assign tasks, and oversee seasonal hiring and training.
- Manage chemical applications, fertilizer programs, and irrigation systems.
- Coordinate with mechanics on equipment maintenance and supply needs.
- Support course improvement projects and campus snow removal.
- Oversee daily maintenance in the superintendent’s absence and other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Passion for a career in golf course maintenance.
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of golf and turf maintenance required.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to obtain Wisconsin pesticide certification within one year.
- Supervisory experience managing crews of 10+ employees.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions
- Must possess good organizational/time management skills.
- Flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
