As a Part Time Banquet Bartender at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll be responsible serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in superior guest satisfaction.

What will you be doing?
- Set up the bar daily with necessary supplies per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and check par levels of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to maintain quality.
- Greet guests courteously, take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
- Update par sheets during shifts for accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and guest areas throughout the shift.
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, record charges, and balance money.
- Lock and store all beverages, food, and equipment items.
- Follow liquor laws and regulations for serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests, and assist security with disorderly guests.
What do you bring to the role?
- 2 years of bartending experience preferred, must have basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate, must be at least 18 years old to serve or pour alcohol.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
- Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions, balance sheets, and vouchers and to communicate with guests and take orders.
- Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnishes, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, the ability to work under pressure and have reliable transportation to and from work
