POSITION PURPOSE

To assist in the maintenance and coordination of banquet rooms by providing the necessary set-up, upkeep, break down, and cleaning functions.  To provide food and beverage service to functions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Sets up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment; and breaks down assigned banquet rooms according to contract and supervisors instructions.
2. Services of food and beverages according to standards and event orders.
3. Handles guest requests or gets assistance from supervisor or manager.
4. Communicates frequently with supervisors as to the progress of the days work.
5. Maintains cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, banquet pantry and storage areas.
6. Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
7. Maintains Hiltons high standards of quality and service.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to read and comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests.
2. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
3. Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
4. Ability to lift 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
5. Prior hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred.
