Banquet Server On Call

As a Banquet Server at the Hilton Bloomington, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the event as well as serving food and beverages to our guests, set-up, upkeep, break down, and cleaning functions.

What will you be doing?
- Sets up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment; and break down assigned banquet rooms according to banquet event orders and supervisor's instructions.
- Services of food and beverages according to standards and banquet event orders.
- Handles guest requests or gets assistance from supervisor or manager.
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Maintains Hilton's high standards of quality and service.
- Maintains all cleanliness and sanitation pf banquet rooms, public areas, banquet pantry and storage areas along with personal hygiene.
- Other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role?
- No experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to read, speak and comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
