As a part time Banquet Server at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the event as well as serving food and beverages to our guests, set-up, upkeep, break down, and cleaning functions.

What will you be doing?
- Serve food and beverages to guests and set up/break down banquet rooms per contract and Manager's instructions.
- Prepare work areas (e.g., coffee and bread stations) before functions.
- Handle guest requests, seeking assistance from Manager/Supervisor when needed.
- Communicate regularly with Manager/Supervisor on work progress.
- Maintain cleanliness in banquet rooms, public areas, and storage.
- Manage inventory of supplies.
- Uphold the high standards of quality and service that are expected of a four-diamond resort.
- Perform other assigned duties as directed by Manager.
What do you bring to the role?
- Past experience in hotels, restaurants, banquets or customer service is a plus
- Willing to work weekends
- Has reliable transportation to and from work
- Loves meeting new people and interacting with guests
- Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience
- Passionate about people and travel
- Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times
