With a prime location in Milwaukee’s Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where art, hospitality, and community come together. Our banquet spaces host everything from elegant galas and weddings to innovative corporate gatherings and art-driven events.
What will you be doing?
Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders, layouts, and standards.
Move, arrange, and handle furniture, staging, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all meeting spaces are clean, organized, and properly stocked with required items.
Work closely with the banquet and events team to ensure room readiness and timely transitions between events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces.
Assist with minor maintenance or adjustments to equipment and fixtures as needed.
Provide courteous assistance to guests and event planners when on the event floor.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and associates.
Support other banquet and hotel operations as requested by management.
What we are looking for:
Prior banquet, event setup, or hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs.) and stand or walk for extended periods.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Dependable and detail-oriented, with pride in presentation and efficiency.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences.
