As a Banquet Set-up Supervisor for the Banquets Department at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will supervise and assist in ensuring the appropriate set-up of banquet rooms according to guest specifications and Marcus’ standards of quality.

What will you be doing?
· Develop and implement sustainable training and development programs in order to ensure efficient, competent, and professional service delivery
· Assist and supervise banquet set-up staff and ensure all tasks are completed
· Inspect storage facilities
· Develop working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations
· Complete visual inspection and maintenance of banquet and meeting space and check the condition of equipment
· Install phone lines in meeting rooms
· Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
· Perform other duties as assigned
What do you bring to the role?
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Prior supervisory experience is preferred
· Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in order to provide service as requested by managers, staff, and guests
· Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
