The Responsibilities:
Maintain and increase Spa revenue.
Understand and analyze profit and loss statements to help budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor and control department’s expenses and payroll.
Participate in the development and oversee the implementation of Spa operating budget.
Oversee hiring, training, supervising and evaluating of all Spa staff with assistance of Supervisors when necessary.
Attend the daily Huddle meetings at main hotel.
Maintain MOD (Manager on Duty) book.
Review staff goals from strategic plan.
Attend sales functions/ trade shows.
The Qualifications:
Someone who is passionate about people and travel
Willing to work weekends
LOVES meeting new people and interacting with guests
Has reliable transportation to and from work
Past experience in hotels and customer service a plus
Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience
Minimum of 5 years Spa management experience.
Luxury hotel experience preferred.
College graduate or professional certifications in spa treatments preferred.
Prior experience w/ Spa Soft software.
Prior P&L experience and responsibility.
Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.
Must possess good organizational /time management skills.
Able to develop camaraderie with team members.
Ability to hold yourself, employees, and organizations accountable for their actions.
Respond constructively to emotional situations, high pressure and conflict
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Operations
Exemption Status: Exempt
