As a Front Desk/ Night Audit Supervisor at the Omaha Marriott Downtown, you will be responsible for supervising front desk staff as well as greeting our guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Supervise the night audit, front desk staff,  and bell staff as needed, ensuring all daily functions from checklist are completed.
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
  • Check guests in and out of rooms.
  • Input and retrieve information routinely from computer system to communicate guest requests. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs.
  • Effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
  • Respond to guest requests and questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services as well as handle guest issues and report complaints to management.
  • Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Previous supervisory, hotel, front desk, customer or guest service experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the front office for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Capability to accurately input and manage information using a computer system.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Visual and auditory awareness to detect emergencies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Estimate: $18.00/hour
