What will you be doing?

  •  Supervise front desk staff, reservations, and bell staff as needed, ensuring all daily functions from checklist are completed.

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.

  • Check guests in and out of rooms.

  • Input and retrieve information routinely from computer system to communicate guest requests. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs.

  • Effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

  • Respond to guest requests and questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services as well as handle guest issues and report complaints to management.

  • Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What do you bring to the role?

·       Previous supervisory, hotel, front desk, customer or guest service experience preferred.

·       Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the front office for extended periods.

·       Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.

·       Capability to accurately input and manage information using a computer system.

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.

Wage Estimate: $24.00-$26.00/hour
