What you will be doing:
- Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property and assets.
- Patrol premises on foot.
- Operate a dispatch center with responsibilities for key control, fire alarm monitoring, and closed circuit television monitoring, answering routine and emergency calls for service, and dispatching call for service.
- Perform proactive and professional security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
- Investigate situations and conditions and write reports as necessary.
- Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates as needed in a professional and calm manner.
- Witness cash drops and monitor cameras.
- Perform lost and found functions.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of security, law enforcement, and de-escalation practices preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel, and general public.
- Ability to read/write in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must work well both independently and with others as a team player and under pressure.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s License highly preferred.
