As a Private Dining Event Coordinator with Marcus Hotels & Resorts – Milwaukee Market, you’ll play a key role in bringing events to life. You'll take the reins on group bookings passed along by the Private Dining Sales Manager and ensure every detail—from contracts and special concessions to food, beverage, and event space—is flawlessly executed. Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel ownership and management company in Milwaukee, is seeking an Account Manager- Non-Profit Markets to drive business for three of the city’s most iconic properties: the Hilton Milwaukee – A premier convention headquarters hotel; the Pfister Hotel – A recently renovated, historic luxury hotel; and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel – A vibrant, creative hub for the arts and events. With a total of 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this role offers the opportunity to secure high-value business, cultivate lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of these landmark hotels. 

What you will be doing:

  • Maximize food & beverage revenue by upselling group bookings from the Sales Manager.
  • Craft customized menus and coordinate event details including linens, florals, and printed materials.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and the restaurant team to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Oversee event setup and introduce clients to the restaurant team upon arrival.
  • Maintain consistent communication with all departments to ensure flawless service.
  • Manage and detail all events for Miller Time Pub & Grill and SafeHouse Milwaukee.
  • Participate in BEO and revenue meetings to stay aligned with business goals as well as assist with financial reporting.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through timely follow-ups and clear communication.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous hotel or restaurant experience required; food & beverage operations preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong multitasking and project management abilities
  • Confident networker and polished communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Skilled in analyzing client needs and negotiating pricing
  • Able to meet deadlines and work flexible, non-traditional hours
