As a Restaurant General Manager, you'll take the lead in driving exceptional dining experiences by overseeing daily operations, ensuring top-tier service, and guiding a passionate team while being responsible for maintaining food quality and consistency, managing costs, optimizing inventory, and creating a seamless, customer-focused atmosphere.

What you will be doing:
  • Supervise and support restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and enforcing service standards.
  • Assist with marketing, menu development, and competitive analysis to enhance restaurant offerings.
  • Manage financial responsibilities, including house bank maintenance and tip distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and maintenance standards, addressing repairs as needed.
  • Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff while conducting meetings to share key updates.
  • Monitor food quality and guest satisfaction, addressing feedback to improve service.
  • Oversee inventory and supply levels to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with corporate offices, vendors, and other departments while leading the team effectively.
What we are looking for: 
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, wines, and preparation techniques.
  • One to three years’ experience as a manager or assistant manager of restaurant operations.  
  • Excellent mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other financial statements.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and manage payroll and production within budget constraints. 
  • Ability to work entire shift standing and moving about in restaurants and kitchen area.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, to understand internal documents, reports, and to interact effectively with guests and associates.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts.
  • High school diploma required. College education preferred.
