What you will be doing:
· Elevate every dish by monitoring food quality, consistency, and presentation—offering real-time coaching to keep standards exceptional.
· Maximize profitability and budgeting goals by mastering inventory control, strategic ordering, precise portioning, and smart labor planning.
· Build and lead a high-performing kitchen team through hands-on recruitment, training, and mentorship, all while championing top-tier health and safety standards.
· Energize the team with impactful pre-shift meetings and check-ins that align daily goals, safety practices, and culinary execution.
· Collaborate on innovative menu planning, accurate food costing, and flawless promotion rollouts—always with an eye on industry trends.
· Set the gold standard for cleanliness and compliance, ensuring every corner of the kitchen exceeds sanitation regulations.
· Partner with front-of-house and management teams to ensure seamless communication, perfect timing, and memorable guest experiences.
· Oversee essential operations from vendor relations and scheduling to payroll, inventory systems, and regulatory documentation.
What we are looking for:
· Minimum 3 years of supervisory/kitchen/restaurant management experience; high school diploma required, culinary education a plus.
· In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food prep, food service, sanitation, and culinary best practices.
· Proven leadership in high-volume kitchens with a focus on team development, performance and organization.
· Strong math skills for accurate food costing, inventory, and labor management.
· Physically able to stay active during long shifts and navigate all kitchen and storage areas, and working a varied scheduled including days, nights, weekends and holidays
· Excellent English communication skills for training, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination.
· Skilled in handling high-pressure situations with professionalism and effective problem-solving abilities.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, kitchen inventory systems, POS software; bilingual a plus.
