Group Sales Manager

The Platinum Hotel & Spa seeks a Group Sales Manager with a well-rounded background to include corporate, government, social and association markets. Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business and servicing accounts while keeping quality consistently high are important components of the position. 

What you’ll be doing:

·       Account prospecting, solicitation, and development via telephone, personal contact, outside calls, correspondence, email and other means of communication.  Conduct hotel site inspections, entertain both in house and off property, and maintain thorough follow up methods

·       Prepare and present proposals and contracts both written and verbal in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant and professional manner

·       Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales goals and KRA’s

·       Handle account details and coordinate final arrangements with clients

·       Attend meetings including, but not limited to, pre-convention, revenue, departmental

·       Represent hotel at trade shows, civic/business functions, industry-related associations, and other events to promote the hotel and/or the city

What we are looking for:

• Must have proven selling, negotiating, and presentation skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft application tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Amadeus/Delphi knowledge preferred
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
• Must be 21
