Accounting Clerk

As an Accounting Clerk at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll be responsible for assisting with accounting & record keeping for campus wide resort functions with a focus on the following: Grand Geneva Vacation Condominium Association, Timber Ridge Lodge Homeowners Association, and White River Villas Homeowners Association.

What will you be doing?
- Maintain records & control facility, homeowner and association revenues for Timber Ridge Lodge
- Record keeping for Association & Marcus period-end financial statement production
- Provide information for period-end balance sheet account reconciliations and annual audits
- Review, report on and coordinate the rental revenue rotation for Timber Ridge Lodge owners
- Review and report all association homeowner expenses
- Key contact for association account inquiries
- Review and assist with all resort inter-company account reconciliations between entities
- Participate in monthly Financial Statement preparation & review for the HOAs
- Assist with production of daily, weekly, period, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Completing various management reports, illustrations and models as requested by management
- Various other initiatives as may be necessary to ensure the smooth operation, growth or to enhance the value of the resort
What do you bring to the role?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Must be computer literate and embrace learning new software
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other MS-Office suite products
- Organizational & interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with hospitality financial accounting, controls, systems & procedures
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and complete goals within deadlines specified by management
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to diffuse situations and collect accurate information and professionally resolve problems.
