 The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting functions including general cashier, accounts receivable, payroll, customer service, and other accounting duties.

 General cashier duties include ATM, petty cash, preparing deposits, issuing & auditing banks.

 Accounts receivable duties include credit card reconciliation including chargebacks, incoming wire postings, direct bill application processing, large and small group billing, banquet check reconciliation, travel agent commission processing, wholesaler account billing and client follow-up.

Payroll duties include daily review in UKG and bi-weekly transmittal of payroll in PeopleSoft. Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve payroll disputes from employees. Prepares and issues manual paychecks, replaces lost and/or stolen checks.  Assists in compilation of daily labor reports and periodic testing.

Successful candidates will have exemplary customer service and communication skills, have an extreme attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, have the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines with extreme confidentiality. Previous A/R experience and intermediate or better knowledge of excel is required.   

 This is a full-time position that offers a full benefit package, 401k retirement saving plan and PTO.
