Accounts Receivable Clerk
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring accuracy in financial operations? Do you want to play a key role in supporting accounting functions at some of Milwaukee’s premier downtown hotels? If so, we invite you to join our team as an Area Account Receivable Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding assets, balancing transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies—all while providing support to management and associates across multiple properties.

What will you be doing?
Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing while maintaining records that support credit policies, internal controls, and documentation requirements.
Maintain accounts receivable reports, spreadsheets, and handle month-end activities and special projects as assigned.
Monitor daily revenues and settlements, ensuring accuracy across hotel and restaurant systems.
Provide timely, high-quality customer service, including resolving credit card inquiries and chargebacks within required timeframes.
Manage customer billing for groups, corporate, intercompany, rentals, and attrition, while keeping organized billing files.
Oversee collections and payment postings of receivables, ensuring targets for current and delinquent accounts are met and reported.
Review daily revenue by partnering with front office and night audit teams to ensure timely, accurate postings, balancing, and reporting.
Perform daily balancing of credit card batches, sales tax, allowances, and miscellaneous charges to support accurate Daily Revenue Reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role?
High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of hospitality industry experience in front desk, F&B, accounting, or administration preferred.
Ability to travel regularly between downtown Milwaukee locations.
Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP concepts, and hospitality financial controls, systems, and procedures.
Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
Experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform accurate mathematical computations.
Knowledge of general ledger systems, accounting principles, and corporate procedures.
Flexibility to assist in other accounting functions as assigned.
Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform.
