Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for over 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.

What you will be doing

·       Supervise kitchen staff and daily operations.

·       Prepare breakfast and lunch items while ensuring consistency and quality.

·       Train and mentor cooks and prep staff to maintain standards.

·       Assist with menu planning, daily specials, and seasonal items.

·       Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage of food items.

·       Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.

·       Support hotel-wide culinary initiatives as needed.

 

Position Requirements

·       Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a café, casual dining, or hotel kitchen environment.

·       Strong knowledge of breakfast and lunch service operations.

·       Experience with menu planning, inventory, and cost control.

·       ServeSafe certification preferred

·       Strong leadership and communication skills.

·       Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full Time, Salary             

Pay Range:  $60,000-$68,000 Annually Based on Experience
