Creative Specialist
We’re looking for a Creative Specialist to join our Marcus Hotels & Resorts Milwaukee Area Marketing Team—a group dedicated to bringing bold ideas and beautiful visuals to life. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Creative Manager to develop compelling print, digital, photo, and video content that captures the essence of our brand. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with strong design and photography skills, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to grow creatively in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
This position supports the marketing efforts for three of Milwaukee’s most iconic properties all operated under Marcus Hotels & Resorts: the Hilton Milwaukee, a premier convention destination; The Pfister Hotel, a recently renovated luxury landmark; and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, a vibrant hub for creativity and events. With 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of event space across these properties, your work will be seen, celebrated, and remembered. What you will be doing:
Design and produce print and digital assets, including menus, signage, and social media content.
Partner with the Creative Manager to develop concepts aligned with brand identity and marketing goals.
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and content calendar execution through collaborative planning.
Capture and edit high-quality food and event photography for use across multiple marketing channels.
Manage and prioritize multiple creative projects to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
Review deliverables to ensure brand consistency and maintain the team’s digital asset library.
Update and adapt existing creative materials for various platforms using brand templates.
Stay current with design trends and contribute fresh ideas to enhance brand storytelling.
Organize and maintain the team’s digital asset management system, ensuring proper file naming and storage.
What we are looking for:
2+ years of experience in photography and/or graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing print and digital work.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and photo editing tools like Lightroom.
Photography skills required; basic videography knowledge or interest is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and feedback integration skills.
Creative thinker with strategic problem-solving ability and professional demeanor.
Interest in hospitality, food & beverage, and brand storytelling; hospitality experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in design, photography, marketing, or a related field.
