Director of Security & Transportation
Always on your toes? Prevent loss by keeping your eye on the lookout. As a Director of Security & Transportation, no two days are the same. This role is responsible for providing our guests a safe and comfortable stay through effective management of the security associates.
Hilton Milwaukee is seeking an enthusiastic candidate interested in working as a team to motivate associates to deliver unforgettable guest experiences by serving people, creating memories and delivering exceptional experiences at this leading downtown Milwaukee hotel.
What will you be doing?
- Recruitment and Selection for the open positions in the department.
- Ensures Associates are fully trained for their essential jobs.
- On Stage Manage Associates through guidance, reward, and recognition.
- Schedules, coaches, and counsels Associates.
- Investigates any unlawful acts (internal/external).
- Conducts departmental meetings and shift change roll calls.
- Chairperson of Safety Team and meetings.
- Liaison with MPD / DSNA.
- Maintains MSDS books.
- Maintain MOD program.
- Maintains Emergency Procedures.
- Write reports.
- Assist Loss Prevention officers with their duties.
- Oversight of Transportation & Parking Ramp departments.
- Maintain hotel radio communications.
What do you bring to the role?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Hospitality Experience required.
- Prior experience in related field.
- CPR / First Aid training preferred.
