What Will You Be Doing?
As a Steward, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen while supporting food and beverage operations throughout the property. Your responsibilities include:
Operating and maintaining the dish machine according to manufacturer and health department standards
Scraping, rinsing, racking, washing, unloading, and properly storing dishes and utensils
Transporting clean dishes and utensils to the kitchen line and other Food & Beverage areas as needed
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, including stovetops, ovens, fryers, mixers, coolers, and prep areas
Maintaining cleanliness of dish room, kitchen floors, walls, counters, walk-in coolers, freezers, and mats
Emptying trash and recycling throughout the kitchen and dish areas
Restocking supplies such as plates, utensils, soap, and hand towels
Handling cleaning chemicals safely and following all safety and sanitation guidelines
Assisting with moving food carts, dish racks, and kitchen equipment
Supporting associate cafeteria operations, including setup, breakdown, stocking, and inventory of paper goods
Preparing hot and cold food items for associate meals according to menus and recipes
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Following proper sanitation, hygiene, and personal appearance standards
Performing additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
What Will You Bring to the Role?
We’re looking for dependable, team-focused individuals who take pride in their work. Ideal candidates have:
The ability to work in fast-paced, high-noise kitchen environments
Comfort working in hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull heavier loads as needed
Physical flexibility, including bending, reaching, and lifting overhead
Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
The ability to stay calm and efficient during busy service periods
A friendly, respectful attitude when working with fellow team members
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling (training provided)
No prior experience required; hospitality or kitchen experience is a plus
