Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the effective operation and oversight of all Food and Beverage outlets. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and service, supervising associates, ensuring consistency in food production, and assisting with cost control and inventory management.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Director of Operations and Restaurant Manager in supervising Restaurant and Food & Beverage staff, including scheduling, service standards, training, motivation, safety, and daily operations.
• Ensure all Food & Beverage outlets meet sanitation, safety, and brand standards; verify equipment functionality; inspect facility appearance; and follow up on maintenance and work orders in a timely manner.
• Train, schedule, and direct Food & Beverage staff to support efficient operations; conduct pre-shift meetings and participate in monthly departmental meetings, communicate house counts, menu changes, and operational updates.
• Monitor product quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction across all outlets, ensuring consistent food preparation, adherence to beverage and service standards, and alignment with guest expectations and hotel policies.
• Engage with guests to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, address concerns, and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
• Document inventory, forecast usage, and monitor supplies to ensure outlets remain adequately stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, china, condiments, and other service essentials.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including maintaining the house bank, managing emails, tracking Q times, post-shift reporting, payroll processing, and general administrative duties.
• Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and leadership standards; support hotel policies and procedures; collaborate with other hotel departments; and perform additional duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Strong working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including food preparation techniques and service standards.
• Solid understanding of beverage operations, including beer, wine, and cocktail service.
• Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the property for the duration of a shift, including restaurants, lounges, banquet spaces, and kitchen areas.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to interpret internal documents and reports, and to interact clearly and professionally with guests and associates.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers, exercising patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts, diffuse tension, and gather accurate information.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.

Pay Estimate: starting at $20.80/hour
