Front Office Supervisor - 2nd Shift

The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a motivated, service-driven Front Office Supervisor to lead our team during second shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting a team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences during one of the busiest times of the day.
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations, support associates, and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to People Pleasing People.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time position
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Weekend availability required
- Pay range: $18 – $20/hour, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead front desk operations during your shift and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and support front desk associates and bell staff as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns and escalations
- Ensure efficient and accurate check-in and check-out processes
- Monitor room inventory, availability, and upgrades
- Assist with VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special requests
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank procedures
- Ensure completion of daily checklists and shift responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments
- Complete shift reports and pass-along notes
- Support training, coaching, and development of front desk associates
- Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness
- Step in to assist the team during busy periods

- Previous front desk or guest service experience required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and support a team

- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
