What will you be doing?
- Warmly welcome guests, identifies their needs, and provide personalized service.
- Respond accurately to inquiries about hotel services, events, and VIPs.
- Make decisions and resolve guest issues immediately.
- Ensure a first-class, comfortable experience for every guest.
- Replenishes food and beverages while checking for guest satisfaction.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role?
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will requires high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information to resolve conflicts.
- Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error, e.g., purchasing tickets for guests.
- Ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly.
- Ability to access and accurately use a moderately complex computer system.
- Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform essential job functions.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
