Human Resources Assistant Part-Time

We are seeking a Part Time Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the exceptional guest experience we're known for. As an HR Assistant you will serve as a key point of contact for associates and support the HR team with the day-to-day operations including onboarding, employee relations, file management, office coordination and delivering timely and professional service. This role will have flexible hours between 8:30am to 5pm and work 20-29 hours per week.

What you will be doing:
· Provide primary administrative, clerical, and front-line support to the Human Resources Office, including answering calls, directing inquiries, greeting associates, maintaining office organization, and scheduling onboarding and HR-related appointments.
· Maintain and organize accurate and up-to-date personnel, medical, benefits, and general HR files in compliance with confidentiality standards.
· Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of HR forms, supplies, and equipment (e.g., name tag and ID badge materials).
· Ensure the associate self-help area is well-stocked with relevant forms and distribute items such as Starbucks vouchers and movie tickets.
· Support system access needs (e.g., Hilton Lobby password creation and troubleshooting), and maintaining up-to-date communication channels such as bulletin boards and cafeteria TVs.
· Assist in planning and executing associate recognition and engagement events, including programs like People Pleaser of the Month/Year.
· Assist candidates and new hires throughout the onboarding process, including application and login support, preparing welcome packets, coordinating orientation, supporting completion of compliance training, and providing hotel tours.
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Human Resources team.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience in Human Resources, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree at a minimum.
· Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately file and organize records.
· Comfortable working with numbers and maintaining data accuracy.
· Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
· Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and a polished image appropriate for a Human Resources setting.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
