What will you be doing?

·       Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for The Capitol District and hotel, including digital marketing, advertising, social media, content creation, public relations, and promotional campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.

·       Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all marketing initiatives, maintaining alignment with The Capitol District brand identity and guidelines.

·       Manage digital marketing channels and online presence, including websites, social media platforms, third-party listings, SEO initiatives, and online reputation management to maximize visibility and engagement.

·       Create, oversee, and distribute marketing content and creative assets, including photography, video, sales collateral, signage, digital advertisements, and promotional materials.

·       Monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing performance using campaign analytics, attribution data, and market insights to improve effectiveness, return on investment, and strategic decision-making.

·       Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and Capitol District tenants to develop marketing initiatives, support events, identify partnership opportunities, and enhance the overall guest and visitor experience.

·       Provide marketing leadership and expertise by staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, recommending innovative approaches that strengthen market competitiveness.

·       Participate in marketing, promotional, and community events and perform other duties as assigned in support of The Capitol District and hotel business objectives.

What do you bring to the role?

·       Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.

·       Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and managing multiple marketing initiatives with strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.

·       Proficiency in digital marketing, including social media management, paid advertising, email marketing, SEO/SEM, website management, and campaign analytics.

·       Strong working knowledge of marketing and design software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and related marketing platforms.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content, deliver presentations, and represent the organization professionally.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience interpreting performance metrics, tracking KPIs, and making data-driven recommendations.

·       Ability to build positive relationships with guests, tenants, clients, and internal teams while handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism and discretion.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and adaptability.

·       Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to participate in events, client meetings, tours, and promotional activities as needed.

·       Preferred qualifications include hospitality or restaurant industry marketing experience, familiarity with the Omaha market, and expertise in current marketing trends and best practices.
