Marketplace Restaurant Supervisor

We’re looking for an experienced Marketplace Supervisor to join our team in the reopening of the River Center Market under the new management of Marcus Hotels & Resorts. In this role you will lead a high-energy team with ongoing training and motivation, and ensure seamless operations to create a memorable dining experience that keeps guests coming back for more. Nestled inside the iconic Associated Bank Tower—at the lively crossroads of arts, finance, business, tourism, and dining—you’ll work in an atmosphere buzzing with creativity and connection. 

What you will be doing: 

• Oversee daily operations, enforce policies, maintain cleanliness, and ensure staff adherence to conduct and appearance standards.
• Train and guide staff to meet service and quality standards.
• Monitor food quality, service standards, and preparation methods; make adjustments as needed.
• Manage profitability by controlling payroll, equipment costs, and maintaining inventory and par stock levels.
• Interact positively with guests, resolve issues, and promote hotel facilities and services.
• Use the POS system accurately and ensure timely food and beverage service. 
• Perform all front and back of house roles as needed.

What we are looking for: 

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including staffing, equipment, and guest relations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English in order to effectively handle guest requests and communicate with staff. 
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and diplomacy.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to perform prep work with dexterity as needed. 
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner. 
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
