As a Cocktail Server for Cool Water Pool Bar & Grill at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for the execution of food service and all the components involved at the highest level in the Pool Bar.

What will you be doing?
· Greet guests and explain specials and promotions
· Thoroughly understand the menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and expected service.
· Deliver all required Service Accents to the guest (e.g., SSA presentation, bread presentation, horseradish/cheese grating, and dessert presentation)
· Communicate with the culinary and management team throughout duration of shift
· Address and resolve customer complaints
· Must be proficient in multi-tasking, have the ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts, and have the ability to work under pressure
· Record and input guest orders into the POS system
· Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments
· Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed
· Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction
· Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return
· Assist in cleaning and resetting dining room tables and booths during and after meal
· Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments
· Perform additional duties as assigned
What do you bring to the role?
· High school degree or equivalent preferred
· One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required
· Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions
· Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations
· Ability to work POS system
· Cash handling experience preferred.
· Maintain a clean and organized environment
· Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests
· Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday and have reliable transportation to and from work
