As a Ski Area Attendant at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, processing sales accurately and efficiently, answering phones, and assisting guests with rental equipment.
Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. What will you be doing?
Handle money and financial payment for goods and services
Must be able to enter information into SMS accurately
Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist guests with any needs or challenges.
Assist with day to day operations of boot room.
Assist guest with rental equipment.
Assist with equipment repairs when needed.
Help keep rental room clean and organized.
Ensure safety of guests while at the ski hill.
Preform other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role?
High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
Good communication and customer service skills
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Previous computer experience preferred
Understands and prioritizes safety
Positive attitude
Enjoy working with the general public
Take direction well
Have flexible schedule – weekend, holiday and 2nd shift
Must have good math skills
Regular attendance required
Be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions
Willingness to help with a variety of duties in and around the chalet
