The Bar at Saint Kate is the heart of our social scene — where conversation, cocktails, and creativity come together.
What will you be doing?
Lead bar operations during service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks with artistry and consistency.
Mentor and support bartenders and bar backs, fostering teamwork and excellence behind the bar.
Maintain product knowledge, staying current on trends in mixology, wine, and spirits.
Assist in menu development and seasonal cocktail creation.
Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible service standards.
Oversee bar setup, inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
Monitor service quality, guest interactions, and overall bar atmosphere.
Collaborate with management and the F&B team to ensure smooth operations.
Perform opening, closing, and cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity.
What we are looking for:
Prior bartending experience required; leadership or bar lead experience strongly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
A creative approach to mixology with a focus on presentation and guest experience.
Ability to multitask and perform gracefully under pressure in a high-volume setting.
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork, and the art of the cocktail.
