What you will be doing:

·       Oversee the daily activities of the security department and perform proactive security, safety, and loss prevention practices.

·       Maintain and direct safety for guests and associates while protecting property through continuous patrol of the campus including the restaurants, lobby area, associate entrance, banquet areas, guest floors, service and parking areas.

·       Respond to emergency incidents and security requests and investigate situations and conditions.

·       Write professional case reports on incidents.

·       Interview, hire, train, and supervise loss prevention staff for smooth operations.

·       Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to organize daily tasks.

·       Schedule and oversee staff work assignments.

·       Other duties as assigned.

 

What we are looking for:

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.   

·       Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in hospitality or related security roles is preferred.

·       CPR / First Aid training preferred.

·       Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.

·       Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.  

·       Exceptional people skills, customer service mentality and strong writing & logical thinking abilities.

·       Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.

·       Must be computer literate.

·       Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
